Author: Rachel Ward

Format: Hardback, 345 Pages

Goodreads Bio: Adam sees “numbers” – when he looks in peoples’ eyes he can see their death-dates, just like his mum Jem used to. Adam has trouble dealing with his awful gift, and when he realises that everyone around him has the same series of numbers, he becomes deeply afraid of what might happen in 2025.

Desperate to find out what could be about to go wrong, Adam spends hours researching possibilities – war, nuclear accidents, killer viruses. He knows something big is coming, but what? And is there anything he can possibly do about it?

My Review:  I loved this book! Just as amazing as the first. I loved how it was told from Adam and Sarah, seriously any time a book is written from more than one POV, i jump all over it, it just adds so much to the book. Adam is the child of the two main characters from book 1, its set like 15 years in front of the 1st book. Adam can see the numbers just as Jem did but he can also "feel" how they die as well, like if they drown he hears the water and if they are stabbed he feels the pain of the blade going in, just a great add to the "skill". Sarah comes from a messed up home and runs away and attempts to raise a baby on her on. She also has a "skill", she keeps seeing a nightmare that include Adam and her baby, Mia. Try as they might, they can't change the way the dream plays out but a special ending to the story totally throws you though a loop and leaves you craving more. Just an awesome addition to the series.

Recommend it?: YES! a great sequel and an amazing story.
